The Marital Status Of People
The number of married people above the age of fifteen or older were two thousand and above in the year 2000.The number around the year 1970 was about ninety-five million and in the year 1980 it was hundred and four million .This data includes all the spouses who are not living together. The numbers are coming down rapidly since then. This phenomenon had worst effect on the sex ratio. There was rapid decrease in the number of married African-Americans which was sixty four percent in the seventies to thirty four percent in the year 2000. Likewise the number of whites and Hispanics who were married declined from seventy three percent in the year 1970 to forty present in the year 2005.
